 cdi motor gov. adjustment
I was reading another post where someone stated you need to adjust your govenor to 4200 , I didn't want to jack their post so
Is this possible How is it done
I have heard the cdi motors are preset for that rpm but mine at wot in nuetral is about 3850

Your motor is not adjusted right if you only get 3850 OOW. Make sure your throttle cable is giving you full travel on the throttle and turn the governor adjustment screw clockwise to adjust the RPM up. On a CDI, the coils have a built in 4300 rev limiter so you can set the governor to 4300 OOW.

thanks for the info and also the detailed picture, also, those pipes on your motor look good from what i could see
