Post Generac 33
I am going to purchase a new long tail in spring and was originally going to go with the btlt 35, but now I see mud buddy is coming out with a new engine option which is the 33 Generac. I've searched on here and I guess I was wondering why is this motor not used more? Is it new or is there something else wrong with it. As of now that is the way I plan on going. Any input? Thanks

Do you know what the weight is on that? Right now funds are only allowing the purchase of a motor.... My current hull is a 1648 ouchita :? Not sure that hull could handle it....

Wouldn't think it would be a lot of difference. Only 20-25lb difference between my 27kohler and a 35briggs.

Better get rid of that boat bingham cause your gonna need all those parts that are readily available like ya'll say. Good running engines but not good enough

The Genny that is on my airboat can be purchased if anyone is looking. I will sell ya the reduction unit with it also. Holding onto the props for now.

And parts are not that hard to get. Generac is just a pain to deal with directly. You have to go through their distributors. Looks like Mud Buddy is becomeing a distributor.
