If you have a transom that is straight across, most of the long tails will let you spin them around so the tail sits in the boat. |

Mud buddy, GTR, GDSD will all add + - 3 feet. You can turn it all the way to one side and it will probably be less that 2 feet. |

Just turn it all the way, handle sticking out to a side won't be too much of an issue. will maybe add a foot and a half. This was an issue with me too, turns out I just keep it in the yard. Nothing a lock, chain, and motor cover can't do. |

The trailers w/ the hinged tounge is also an option to give more room in the garage. |
