Re: 27 kohler No lash adjustment, it has hyd lifters and the pedestal bolt is torqued to spec (100 in lb) with the lifters bled down.

Re: 27 kohler Thanks man didn't know that. The issue I'm having is a high pitched rattling from Time to time at full throttle. The sound seems to be coming from the head area of the motor. If I let off the throttle alittle for 45 or so seconds It will stop and I can go back to wot again. I check the bps muffler and that's not it.
