I have a 1746 geaux custom skiff with a 27 prodrive on it now and it does pretty good but I wanna go bigger. Do you guys have any experience with this type boat with the various types of different brands and options? Which seems to perform the best. I kinda wanna put a 36 pd with a stage 1 kit on it what you guys think?

I'd say go for it or any of the big blocks with reverse.

i think i might the 27 is a 04 model with 640 hard hrs on it and is still running strong. it has the 2010 lower unit on it that has about 50 hours on it. i thought about just buyin at 36 briggs engine and having EVT put the kit on it and puul the 27 off the frame and repowering it with the 36.
