I'm running a 35 hp MB tall transom on a 1752 100ga boat what kind of rpm's and mph should it be running? I ran the boat in deep water rpm's were 3450 and gps showed to run 17 mph with 2 guys and a dog 500lbs total weight in the boat. Only upgrades to the motor is bps twin pipes. |

You should be turing at a minimum of 3800 with what you are describing. Make sure your Governor is set to 4250-4300 neutral RPM's |

Ensure your governor is set out of the water as above, also make sure you are getting full travel on your throttle. |

I got full throttle on the cable only ran 3650-3760 rpms out of water ... would it be one of the springs on the back it has a purple spring i guess is the gov. spring and a spring with 3 settings is one of the springs bad? |

Sounds a little slow to me. I've got a BD4500 on the back of my 1754 mod v war eagle and can push about 28-29 with the same conditions/load that you stated. Sounds like you need a little rpm increase. |

Thanks for the help the spring from the governor to the slide plate is bad I put some wire ties on the spring and ran it by myself 4000-4070 rpms and 25-26 mph . |
