I'm running a 35 hp MB tall transom on a 1752 100ga boat what kind of rpm's and mph should it be running?
I ran the boat in deep water rpm's were 3450 and gps showed to run 17 mph with 2 guys and a dog 500lbs total weight in the boat. Only upgrades to the motor is bps twin pipes.

You should be turing at a minimum of 3800 with what you are describing. Make sure your Governor is set to 4250-4300 neutral RPM's

Ensure your governor is set out of the water as above, also make sure you are getting full travel on your throttle.

Sounds a little slow to me. I've got a BD4500 on the back of my 1754 mod v war eagle and can push about 28-29 with the same conditions/load that you stated. Sounds like you need a little rpm increase.
