I want to add more horsepower and speed to my longtail. I have a 6.5 hp clone on there now and I have two options either modify it or go out and buy the Lifan 15 hp or duromax16 hp. Has anyone ever thought about this, tried it, or any reviews on the motors? |

What kind of speed and reliability are you wanting? |

Bigger motor. It will be more reliable, probably less headache and cost. |

Just wantin 15-20mph. Has anyone used one of these engines yet to build a set up? What size prop y'all think I'm pretty sure I have a 6x4 on there now. |

What size boat is it on? I had a 13 hp lt on a 1442 and it would barely get 15 empty on a good day. |

1460 I know 14ft boats are not as good as 16 fts but it's what I have for now. |

Did you measure across the top or the bottom of the hull? |
