Post Single mikuni carb??
Hey guys i was looking at getting a single mikuni carb put on my stock 2011 Prodrive Drive. Second mud motor and just dont know how long the motors last with his mod. and if i have to do any other mods to make it work with it. i have it on a 19 x 54 gator trax by myself with normal load i get 23mph at 3640rpm. any info wld be great.

carb is not gonna compromise the longevity of the motor. If you are gonna do the card, get a higher flow exhaust than factory as well.

good luck with the mods. Also, another mod that will go well with the other 2 is working the heads. (port, polish, deck)

your safest 2 mods is the carb and exhaust. thats what I have and made a great difference. I have been considering the heads but not sure if I want to take the risk. I have had great results with what I have.

If you wanna be safe and reliable, get a carb exhaust and heads done, if you want more put a cam in it, the list of mods goes on and on. All comes down to what you are trying to do with your boat
