About to pull the trigger and order iron mtn heads and high rev coils. I already have a mikuni and MM exhuast on a 2011 36PD. My question is that is it worth it to go ahead and get the 1.5/1 roller rockers and heavy push rods or wait>??????

I only recomend them when you install a cam. Not necessary if you are only doing heads, although it wont hurt to have them.

First of all, I didnt say it was needed, just that I recomend it.

And the reason that I do, is that a performance cam has more travel/higher lift. Thus it compresses the valve spring more putting more stress on the rocker arm/push rod, and both the aftermarket roller rockers and push rodsare substancially larger/stronger than the stock ones.

I had stock rods & rockers in mine, made it 100 yards before one fell out  swapped in a set and never looked back.

Stock push rods are all I use.

They're good to 5300+ rpm.
