I'm wantin' to get myself an aluminum boat and build a mm specifically for the swamp, I don't wanna mess my bugbuster and yamaha with stumps and things like that. I need some advice on how to build the shaft from the crank to the prop? got a few ideas but i wanna see what yall think. I'm wanting to do a bearing type stearing mechanism, and the mounting plate i'm wanting to put on a cmc. i'm getting a 25hp motor atleast. what do yall think, horizontal shaft? or vertical shaft motor, whichever would be the easiest to hook up to the prop shaft. Let me know what the best idea is, thanks.
