I want to install a cam on my 23 b&s. Was thinking what the process was in it. Debating on doing it on my on or having SETX Performance do it. What's it run for them to do it? Just want it done! Ready to wake my baby up!

D guidry did his cam install. Search his thread. if you are wandering what SETX charges, pick up the phone and call. Simple solution. :lol:

Yes, I installed my cam and heads, but I am special. I had lots of help from this forum and from Hoyt at Gator Tail. I was a pain in the arse. I learned a hell of a lot but that was my objective, too. So if you are interested in the "journey" I say try it yourself. But if you want it done right and want the performance improvements quickly, have an expert do it for you. Their labor and expertise are worth every dime.

Nuthin to it.

Pop the push rods out
take the crankcase cover off
swap cams (make sure its in time!!!)
Put it back together.

Cody and I talked he ordered my cam and will be installing.

Exhaust is being repaired right now! LoL
