 23 or 27 Surface Drive

Post 23 or 27 Surface Drive
I am buying a new Motor Monday for a 1540 Boat. Everybody keeps steering me toward a 23 Vanguard because of the Electric or Battery setup on the 27 Kohler. I carry two batteries so is there any reason I should not get the 27 Kohler???

I have a 27 kholer on a 15x48 and it runs good but a friend of mine has a 23 Briggs on the same size boat u got and he will out run me

You can do so much with the 23 it is unreal.Its really a ford -chev thing.I would get the 23 but thats me
