I like everybody else had problems with the stock carb so i bought a weber carb off somebody that had it already on a generac. My problem is i use to be able to hit between 4000-4200 rpms now cant get above 3800 could the carb be to small or anything else that could cause this? Thanks |

3800 is about right for the Generac. Might have leaky valves. |

It seems to be running fine so i figured the jetting was fine. The one i got needed cleaned so i priced rebuild kits and new ones and they wasnt much difference in price so i bought a new one no difference in rpm between the two. Its a 32 mm carb not sure what is factory. It has had somr head work done to it before i bought it. I do believe i have lost speed since my rpms dropped below 4000 |
