Hooking up bigger gas tank

 Hooking up bigger gas tank I want to hook a bigger gas tank on my 16 hp duromax. Will my carb suck fuel up ifi have a primer ball on the line or will I have to get a fuel pump?

Re: Hooking up bigger gas tank How far away is the tank? But i would think as long as you have a primer bulb you should be good. Does that engine have a mechanical fuel pump already?

Re: Hooking up bigger gas tank If your engine is still gravity fed, then you will need to get a fuel pump as well as a primer bulb.

Hooking up bigger gas tank You won't regret putting the fuel pump, trust me on this one.

Re: Hooking up bigger gas tank Ya it is gravity fed. I don't know anything about a mechanical fuel pumps, like where to buy them and how to hook them up. I'm really wishing now I would have just saved up and went with a vanguard. This engine has alot of torque at low speeds but the governor in this thing is ridiculous at full throttle cut in and out enough t make you sick.
