 sneaky quiet.....
Have a GTR35, needing to know what I can do to quiet this motor down as much as possible. The land owner of the lease I hunt on is complaining about my motor noise. Would hate to have to part with a boat to stay on the lease. Currently the GTR35 has a Hoyt Stage 1 with Double Barrel exhaust. Willing to try going back to a stock muffler but didn't know if there was something better I could do?

 Re: sneaky quiet.....
Gutted stock exhaust or a "Q" from Utah. Let me know a price on that MM via pm. I want one.
Sent by carrier pigeon.

 Re: sneaky quiet.....
None of these motors are any where close to anything "sneaky," but the quietest muffler that is made is the stock one...........and if you put your stock one back on you're gonna lose some of your hole shot, load carrying ablility, and a hundred or 2 rpms and a mph or 2 on top end.
The Q is slighly louder, but will perform the same.

 Re: sneaky quiet.....
If you go back to stock be sure to get a ss. The pre-ss scare me for fear of rusting out and something dropping in your motor

 Re: sneaky quiet.....
All i can say is use a paddle or trolling motor. These are the 2nd loudest hunting rigs on the planet...only slightly quieter than an Airboat.

 Re: sneaky quiet.....
Get a 'Q' and try runnning a flex pipe down toward the water.
