Post 40 Hp. Yamaha 2 Stoke
Went to run the flat this weekend and im having a problem. Run wide open from launch for over 6 miles before I came off the gas to slow down for a guy fishing. When I went to get back up and run, the motor comes out the hole great, but soon starts to loose power and slow, ends up almost to a crawl while your still supposed to be running wide open. Any ideas guys?

ethanol fuel will destroy the inside of the fuel line and cause lil bits of rubber and plastic to get into the carbs...a new fuel line, clean carbs, and install inline fuel filter

Are the jets adjusted correctly? I have a 99 40 yam and if they are not spot on with the service manual and all seals are good, you will have issues, i did. Also check air/fuel mixture
