What oil do you run in your lawnmower?

I just got a mud buddy 35 hd sport. I was wondering what oil everybody uses and how often do you change it? Thanks for all the help Tanner wildes |

mobile 1 syn 5w30 just changed mine after 5 hr break in. manual says every 100 hrs after that. but may do it more often depending on how many hrs i put on it this summer. |

I would change it more than every 100 hrs. I change mine at least every 50. So for me, that is once right before duck season then right after the season ends. I run mobil 1 10w-30 full synthetic |

Just did a 5hr breakin service. Switched to Royal Purple HPM 40 and R.P. oil filter (10-2835 for a 36 P.D.) in the engine and R.P. HPM 80w90 in the lower unit. |

I run diesel 15w40 oil. It has higher Zddp packages that help the flat tappet lifters. |

Some told me to try oil with high zink, but I forgot what the reason was. I prob put a different brand in mine every time.. |

diesel oil has higher Zinc than your typical oil. Its a preference... Oil is oil, But I run 15w40 rotella/mobil delvac. whatever is cheaper or whatever i have on hand. |
