About how much of a difference can you tell with one? I have a 27 kohler an wantes to juice it up a little.

Podcast, if i was to get one should i get an exhaust also? I was reading that instead of doing all these upgrades that i should just get a bigger motor to put on the frame?

Up ta you. I'm a kohler fan. Da factory is right up da road from me. I've seen their motors go ta more den 2,500 hours and beyond. Ya could go bigger off da bat. Dats always an option. If not, figure out what'd cost ya fer da exhaust en carb. No knockin da Briggs at all. Both good runners.

It has made a big difference in load carrying and out of the hole speed. My top end was increased by 3 mph

That sounds really good, i just want to do a little because i wanna get SD after this season. What do you think i should get to help out?

The head job cost 450. The bps muffler cost 420. The head job is the way to go to get the most bang for the buck.

251 is right. I've got a set a 18 hp heads dat I'm gettin put on sometime. I'll get em port and polished, valved and decked as well. I was told it'd be a 5 hp increase. Wit da exhaust Dat came wit da motor I'm lookin at 34 hp outa my 27 kohler. I will likely be gettin me a carb too. Da total cost fer da new heads an da port, polish, an decking is $500.

251 and I had the same guy do the work on our motors. I run a 35 briggs and had the same thing done, and the load carrying is night and day from stock.
