You might also check with someone that is familiar with the older mb's and working on them. I'm thinking that some of the older motors drive parts are no longer available. If you happen to have a bearing go out you might be looking at a pretty good chunk of change to get it fixed due to having to upgrade parts. Maybe shoot BoatDr a msg and ask him.

Is that Forest's rig by chance?

If so, I'm pretty sure it's a 31, not a 35. Plus the belt & pulleys were upgraded to the new style (by yours truly). If that's his rig, then yes, it's definitely worth that, or at least it was last time I saw it.

Well went and checked this thing out its in good shape for an older motor good compression 150 each cylinder and it does seem to have some upgraded parts on it.and yeah it is a 25 sticker on it but the guy says its a 29 but I didn't think they made a 29 am I right I was thinking it was proly a 31 like camo said .

Yeah, I think there was a 29 Briggs too.

Was it in Little Cypress & on a Gator Trax Tunnel hull?

Oh, ok. It looked like his, he had the same sticker made up for it. I still say that's a decent price if it checked out good.

Briggs makes the horizontal big block in 25,27,29,31,33,and 35hp. The drive looks to be around an 04. The compression at 150psi seems the norm from what I've seen on the stock big blocks I've ran a guage on.
