i seen MaXXis85 post about gatortail eliminating the trim relays with the till handle control box? how exactly do they do this? is it just the rocker switch they use or what?

The new style tiller control box use's a heavy duty rocker switch which can handle the amps that the trim will draw. Not needing the relays to handle the amps.

ok, that's kinda what i figured. so then if i wanted to fab up my own box, i would just order a new heavy duty rocker switch to hold up to the old relay amp rating, which they say 30/40amp, is this wrong?

Yeah you could do that. It would be the same thing ,just make sure you use a circuit breaker online with it.

Just get the switch and the inline do magigy to to go with it that all I did them electric taped it to the handle hahah. Rigged up
