no idea. Never bought a new one. What did pro drive say? I'm sure Briggs and/or pro drive will send that info.

You go ride around, find some mud or vegetation, tear it up, go home. There you go its broken in. Change the oil after the first 10 or so hours probably and then every 50 after that.

Ask yourself this question? When you buy a lawn mower do you cut the grass the first few times at idle!!

All the dealers I spoke to say to run at varying RPM's the first few trips out.

You will quickly learn that that is a natural thing with a PD.

That twist throttle can tear up the best wrist on the planet.

Ok guys- thanks for replies- i have broken many motors over last 60 yrs but always can learn something- I usually just run them at varying speeds for a while and then let her rip.

Not "outside" New Orleans, but...
If you, or anyone, hasn't been to the WWII museum, you should. Very well done. You teally get a feel, in a VERY small way, of what it must have been like. A very moving experience. Really drives home what America is all about and what it took to keep it that way. We may say it all the time, that we know those things, but this experience is a vivid reminder that with freedom, comes sacrifice. Watch the movie they have too. Cost extra, but well worth it.

They seem to keep it pretty damn cold in there, which is nice when it's so damn hot outside, but I'd still bring a light jacket.

Heard about a company, Crescent City Charters, at the airport, that offers helicopter tours of New Orleans, etc. I have absolutely no info other than that and I found a number, 504-914-5955. Couldn't find a website.

It's something I plan to look into, and I live down here. I believe they said they check out the local marshes, which would be really neat-a duck's eye view ;)
