You'll need the intake for the 30hp kohler (and should port and semi-Polish, you want the bridge ground down to a knife point), an intake adapter, air filter, and throttle cable. Evt used to sell the kits and it is not much cheaper to put together yourself. Try giving them a call.

You will also have to figure out a way to lock out the governor or tear the motor down and remove the governor shaft and gear. As far as I know they don't offer a Rev limiter that works with the coils on the kohler (that could be false, but I was not offered one and could not find one).

Why would u want the bridge to b ground down to a knife point?

Probably because the adapter sits directly over it and it would cause quite a dead spot. Lots of guys did this with the Briggs intakes also.

Cool. Just asking because there is a huge dead spot on the Briggs mikuni adapter also and was thinking that it caused some flow issues that could be transitioned quite a bit.
