I was letting the excess oil drip out of my crankcase cover and this part fell out and I dont know where it came form. Any help is appreciated. |

Hard to tell on my phone, but kinda looks like a lifter. But how did it fall out??? |

No its not a lifter. Im pretty sure it came out of the oil pump thing inside the cover in the upper right hand corner of the cover. but I dont see how it goes back in |

Go on the website and look at the exploded parts diagrams. Maybe you can figure out where it goes from that? |

That goes inbetween the fly weights on the gov. Gear it pushes on the gov shaft. There also should be a small retaining ring that goes under it as you slide it back inbetween the wights |

You need to lift up on the gear and let the weights open then put it on the shaft an slide everything down together |

If you are taking the gov shaft out. Make sure you remove the whole gov gear assembly |
