What is the reasonable rpms to run a 35hp with just carb and exhaust on it? |

Ive been told 4-4500 for wot. But realistically, you dont need to do that all the time. Some guys claim 5k though. My motor guy told me not to get over 4200. My boat cruises at 25mph at 36-3800rpms with a load. And that's fine with me |

Stock valves don't agree with rpm's over 4300. |
