I was wondering if someone has experience with a Dixie. I have purchased a 23 HP on Alum frame. The motor should be in next week. I'm not that experienced with Surface Drives. Any do's, don't and lesson learned information will be appreciated. Even bad experience with Dixie would be nice to have so i can be on the out look for.

You may want to post your query on the main forum too (Cyber Mudfest). This subforum is specific to engines and mods and you may get more feedback there (not that the guys in this area aren't opinionated, but you will cast a wider net).

Not a whole lot of info here on Dixie from what I have seen. Post up a review after you run yours for a bit. Good luck with it, they sure have the right price point.

Hey marine did you ever get your mud motor from Dixie . How long did it take you to get it from the day you ordered it

Not sure how long it took marine, but it was right at 5 weeks for mine.
