I was wondering about a new project. What do you guys think about puttin this fuel injected motor on a prodrive frame? you think it could work? havent checked the shaft size on it but what are some thoughts? |

Make sure you get the correct crank and yeah, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. Stualaska is running one of the efi kohlers on his GD. Seems to really like it. |

cool, thanks. I Know this wont be stronger than my 45 but an efi 27 hp should be like a 35 without the extra transom weight. Kinda like my 500 carb atv and 500 efi atv. Night and day |

Look for Stu's review. It runs a little better than the carb 27, but it's not really gonna carry a load like a big block. It's still just a 27hp engine. |

You are right ive had a 23,31,35, now 45 mag and you can mod a small vanny till you throw up on my dick. But when it cums to delivering my massive loads nothing does it better than my BIG BLOCK! Unless i use two HUGE MASSIVE BIG BLACK BLOCKS!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

What cb5331 said. If you find one with the correct shaft make sure it has the Delphi EFI and not the Bosch. The Delphi has everything mounted on the engine and doesn't require a fuel return to the tank. Just don't forget that torque, at the rpm's these engines run, is a function of cc's. 747 cc's won't put out as much as 993 cc's unless you add a turbo. Then you run the risk of overstressing the engine. I think the next big thing for mudmotor engines will be the Kohler 999 with the Delphi EFI. |

I would say in the next year you will see motors that exceed 1000 cc's on these frames. |
