Motor recommendation

patgrim1432 MMT Member Joined: Thu Jan 27, 2011 12:13 pm Posts: 40	Motor recommendation I have a 1438 monark Jon with a 13 hp homemade lt it does ok but I am wanting a little more go so I was wondering how a 18 or 23 Dixie mm would push it I usually carry 2 men about 250 each and a dozen deeks my lt will barely plane it out.

But That is my educated suggestion my friend go onto godevils website and they tell you on there motors what size boat there good for. but other than that i dont think you have a motor problem you have a boat problem, know what i mean.
