 Drive Length Measurement

Post Drive Length Measurement
i got a buddy looking at a used Mud Buddy. He is looking to step up to the 32" drive and so Im wondering if anyone knows where the measurement for the out drive is taken so he can bee on the lookout? Is it from the front or rear of the drive box to the end of the shaft or beginning of the prop?
