got a brand new 23 van,,,at full throttle it surges up and down,,, i havent hooked up tinny tac yet so im not sure what the rmps are ,, but im relativly sure its going to be in the 3600 nieghborhood,,the linkage works back in forth on its own at the carb,, is this the governer if so how do u fix,,,, |

That is the gov. You need to bypass it. Look at the BPS or SETX performance sites. I believe they have a kit. |

Thats running wide open in or out of the water?, should go away when under a load or the idle spring on the gov. doesnt have enough tension. The idle spring will change your overall rpm so I wouldnt play with it till the tach's installed. |
