I added a Q muffler ,Iron Mountain heads and a 42mm Mikuni carb. They were installed by The Boat Dr. Pre mods I was running 3900 RPMs at 25.7 tops with or without a moderate load and 22-23 loaded down. Now I run 29.5 at 4250-4300 RPMs without bumping the rev lim. The hole shot has improved 10 fold . It's very responsive ,jumps up to 4200 RPMs in seconds with 2 people ,ice chest and gear. The ride is smooth ,sounds great and noticably quieter. I am very pleased with the results and would recomend doing it if you have the cash. The biggest difference is being able to find where the trim needs to be and leave it there . I had to trim down and work my way up before to get on plane ....it just jumps on plane now....I love it. I hope this helps !
