has anyone had any experience with this motor, probably picking one up in a few days... has some carb issues i think, choke has to be closed a little for it to run well. But everything I can find online has been positive.

I have one on a tiller and my friend has one on a stump jumper clone. they run ok some run better than others. all of the clones i've ever run tend to need choking on every start, even when hot. but if you are having to run the motor with the choke engaged then i would say a dirty carb. the biggest thing on greyhounds was that the tanks would have some rust in them and it would trash up the carb. clean the carb or just take it back. you must have had this one awhile since they switched to predators about a year ago.

In that case go for it, but if you can find the manual and buy a carb they are about $26 bucks. sometimes buying a new carb is easier than working on one.
