I am interested in buying a go devil for my 12' Jon boat. I don't have any experience with these engines so I would like to know what size would be appropriate for that boat? |

You could get away with a 9hp Go Devil long tail, no problem. |

a 12'er will be scary with a mudmotor on it, not to mention SLOW!!! A Minn Kota will go through as much as you need on a small boat like that. My first boat was a 8'x48" pond prowler with a 30lb trolling motor on it, that lil boat was great for beaver ponds, creeks and sloughs. |
