I'm looking for a rebuild kit for my Honda 24hp. Anybody know were is a good place to order it on line? I had hit 4 places in Baton Rouge with no luck.

IIRC, its the same carb as on the 23 vanguard with just a different intake and flange for the air cleaner. When I had my old 24 GoDevil, they were out of "honda" parts when I needed some gaskets and such, and Charlie (the mechanic there) told me this as he handed me briggs packaged parts for it.

The carb is a Nikki. Dam part number brings up two different gaskets.

The 2 different gaskets you are finding is probably the intake gaskets and the float/bowl gasket.
When I rebuilt mine, IIRC, I needed 2 or 3 of the "greenish" fiber/paper gaskets and one of the rubber(ish) spaghetti gaskets.

What is the part number off of your carb? I searched your previous posts, and I sawyou stated you own a GoDevil, did you try and go over there and get some? The gaskets are only a couple dollars.

I found the right carburator. It is a pre 1997. My engine is a TAF Other numbers I was getting was gasket # 16010-ZN1-003 Which is not the right one. The one I need goes by the honda code of 6247696.

Got this info off Iboats.com and will call and order it tomorrow.

according to the diagram on this page, both of those numbers you have listed are for the same part. Any reason you haven't called Go-Devil directly?
