Did you check all your hose clamps on the fuel line.. mine did that before n all it was was a loose clamp letting the pump suck air |

Sure sounds like fuel problem to me, does it have a fuel shutoff/backfire solenoid ? |

My motor acted like that and after triple checking anything to do with my fuel lines carb etc... it ended up being my oil pressure switch that was shutting it down, may be a dumb question but is your oil level correct. Just throwing ideas on the table. |

Well i decided, beings the issue doesn't appear to be any of my doin and motor is still under warranty, to bring it to one of those certified professionals so that if any electrical parts are degrading they can be replaced. By the way my oil levels look good but will probably be ready for changing within the next week or two. I will definetly let yall know what it turns out to be, unless it is something simple my dumbass missed, of course! |

It wound up being a faulty ignition coil that was shorting out, acting like a kill switch, after motor would warm up. |

Cheap fix in the big picture. Did you run it until it shut off then pull the plug to check for spark to diagnose the problem? |

I believe he took it to a certified Briggs repair man according to his previous post.... |

Gotorman, glad you got it fixed. Since you are good to go, I am going to take a chance on your thread similar issues with fuel injection... 1. duckdon, how does low on oil correlate to air in fuel lines? 2. Could too much oil have the same impact? 3. Would there be different reasons for stalling with fuel injection? I got the Kawi 29 fuel injected. ran great first time. ran great first half of second time. after we took a break mid way through (stuck!) it ran well for about a quarter mile, then started stalling out. killed a couple of times, and could not run at full go, had to limp home... |
