Oil is oil. WestEndAngler will chime in and say use NON DETERGENT HD30 oil in the trans.... But oil is oil. |

Use the same oil you put in the crankcase, whether it's Royal Purple or the no name house brand from parts house. |

It is just a planeteray gearbox. Run the same oil you want to run in the crank case. |

If you want to be technical you can run ATF in the mofo and it will be fine. Transmissions and Transfercases have planetary gears and they survive.... oil is oil |

It's just to keep it lubricated fellers !! Keep the moisture out peanut oil would probably work!! But don't try it lol |
