So I hooked up my rev limiter with the help of Rob (Team Camo) and others a few months ago at the SETX mud run. I never really thought it was anything more than a peculiarity with my Mikuni carb (which was installed shortly before the revlimiter) that I would have to bump my ignition switch and let it spring back to the run position to start the engine otherwise my engine would not start. No matter how long I held down the key switch in the start position, it would not continue running. It was brought to my attention that when the ignition switch is in the start position the electric fuel pump is off (its runs when the key position is in run position) and there is no spark, so when the key springs back to the run position the fuel is delivered and there is spark but the engine is starting only on momentum. I must have something wired wrong. You gurus can look at it at the Mud Run this weekend and tell me what's up with my wiring.

I'm confused, what you having a problems with? Is the motor not running, or your key switch messed up?

unhook rev limiter and try it again. I had similar to the same problem except you would have to hold my key on the start for a while and then it would finally start up, unhooked rev limiter and it fired right up. ended up being a bad limiter

When key is in start position starter spins engine fine but no spark and electric fuel pump not pumping, but as soon as you turn key to the run position from the start position engine fires up. When I turn key to run position from off position electric fuel pump begins pumping. It seems revlimiter is interrupting power to plugs and fuel pump when trying to start engine. But as I said if you let go of key and let it spring to to the run position engine fires up and runs. Go figure?

Like Take'em said, try un plugging the green wire on the rev box & see if it still does it.

I almost forgot, if that doesn't work, try shaking it, I heard it works.
