I have a prodrive tiller and wanna convert to a console. I know the prices for the steering kit from Prodrive. Do you think I could get all that I need cheaper by buying it all myself, or is the kit about how much i would end up spending. I'm just not sure what all parts is needed to convert it is my main problem.

I did it and here is what you are looking at from prodrive.

1225 bucks with no rigging. I rigged my own and saved the 800 bucks.

Comes with everything needed.
Console
Steering with custom parts to hook to engine.
Throttle
Tiny tach
Choke cable
New control box. This is the same as what is on your tiller.
All wiring you will need but you will have to make your harnesses.
Might have forgot something. May be able to save a few bucks if you piece
it out yourself but need those parts to hook up steering.

Other major item is do you have hydro reverse. If not thats another 1500 bucks plus install if you cant do it yourself.

All I know is it cost a shit load of money.
