I just picked up a 1644 that I'm putting a 25hp kohler mud buddy on. Going to run the gas tank up front after I get my deck built and bottom welded in. My question is what size fuel line would y'all suggest and would you run an electric fuel pump? |

I have always run 5/16 but you can probably get away with 1/4- thats not a really long run on a 16' and the stock pump should handle it. Don't add the additional complexity of a e-fuel pump if you don't have to so try it first w/o is my recommendation. |

I've been running 1/4 on a stock Mudbuddy 35 for 3 years with no problems. I have 24 foot of fuel line . |

My owners manual says 1/4", so that's what I run. |

I just put a custom built tank in the front of my GDLT and I went with the 5/16" from the tank to the primer ball and to the seperator, out of the seperator to my fuel filter then stock fuel pump (not e-pump), had it in for about 2 weeks and no problems. |
