 5 HP conversion
I am building a mud motor out of a 5 HP snow blower. i am just looking for a good prop to use and a good angle to run my drive shaft for my prop. i am going to use a universal joint to connect the drive shaft to the motor. does anybody have any good ideas on where to start with the angle and prop?

 Re: 5 HP conversion
i have looked at the mud buddy website and they recommend that i use a 6.5x4. i was just wondering if anybody has tried anything else that performs better with a 5 HP motor

 Re: 5 HP conversion
Try a 15 degree angle for your frame.Just use the best seals-bearing that ya can on the bottom of your shaft and dont over grease it.
