 Carb, and prop!
i have a 29 hp vanguard mudbuddy surface drive im thinking about ordering the 35 hp stock carb from mudbuddy. will the 35 hp carb fit my 29 hp van. also, i want to order the mudbuddy big blade prop but not too sure if the engine can turn it. any info will help. if i can put the 35 carb on my engine, and turn the big blade prop, next thing will be exhaust! thanks for any help!

 Re: Carb, and prop!
Bet the carb and prop would work. I know a few with the 31 that put on a 35 carb

 Re: Carb, and prop!
Recommend exhaust first as a basis for being able to flow more air in/out of the motor. Also get rid of the stock muffler that can come apart into your cylinders.

 Re: Carb, and prop!
do heads/ exhaust before the carb... more fuel is pointless if you cant get more flow

 Re: Carb, and prop!
If i put the 35 carb, and the big blade, it still wouldn't do anything until I put an exhaust? It wouldn't run like a 35 hp?
Will the 35 hp carb line up and fit like my 29 carb?

 Re: Carb, and prop!
I don't think it a direct bolt on like the 31/32 carb
More fuel will not give you more power if you don't have more exhaust and intake flow

 Re: Carb, and prop!
Thanks! I think I'll order the single crossover tonight.
And the 35 carb may not bolt up the same as my 29 carb?
