Mud buddy black death 4500 idle question
i have noticed my motor once it is warm will idle at different rpms. I have the choke off and when i trim in the water or out of the water it will still idle at the same rpms. it idles at 800 to 900 then ill run it and slow down and it will idle at 1300 to 1400. is this normal?

Re: Mud buddy black death 4500 idle question
no. ck ur throttle cable or carb linkage for a binding condition. does the idle come back down if u blip the throttle ? if i understand u right. its not surging back and forth is it. if it is ck for vac leak

Re: Mud buddy black death 4500 idle question
I heard there's an issue with a bunch of the newer carbs doing that. Some were fixed by completely tearing em down & soaking for a couple days, & some still had to be replaced.

Re: Mud buddy black death 4500 idle question
My engine did this after my engine set for two months while I was moving into a new house. Cleaning the carb seemed to fix the problem.
