I took the black cap off the of front the unit an touched two wires straight from a battery to directly to each side of the electric motor an the the hydraulic ram moves in an put but it doesn't work with the cap on. I checked an I have power to the parts in the black cap just not understanding why it won't work any help is appreciated |

Im testin it straight from a battery no switch involved |

Reset the breaker. If that doesn't fix it, check to make sure you have power to the switch & relays. If you put power straight to the pump & it moved, then the pump should be good. |

I just figured it out it took some fine tuning. I took the black cap off were the wires run into the unit and checked to make sure the electric motor still worked an it did I had some corrosion on the wires inside that black cap cleaned em up an it works fine now |
