motor hard to turn over (mud buddy)???

 motor hard to turn over (mud buddy)??? I'm new to this site just bought my first duck hunting boat. it's a 23 mini with stage 2 kit. Whenevet I turn the key over its not turning the motor over fast. The battery is a good battery it's used during the summer to crank a 200 optimax. Anyone know what might be causing this? The motor still cranks but it should be turning over a lot faster.

Re: motor hard to turn over (mud buddy)??? Check your connections on the starter. I had the same thing happen and it was just some corrosion on the starter connections
