 Fuel Pump question.
I just purchased a motor with a 24 hp Honda on it. I cannot get it to crank and run without 'crank in a can' or pouring a little gas in the carb. It have tried gravity, a bulb pump, and a 4-10lb fuel pump I had laying around. It sees like I am either getting too much or not enough fuel for this this motor to run.
Any recommendations"? or does anyone know what sort of fuel pressure these things need to rrun. I assume not much since most mowers are gravity fed and the small pump in from of the carb.
any help is appreciated. thanks

 Re: Fuel Pump question.
Your needle valve under the float may be stuck or your jets are gummed up if it will crank and then die as soon as it burns what you sprayed in it even when trying to gravity feed it
