I heard somewhere that if you want an easy do it yourself mod. drill a couple small holes in area of the air filter???

Can anyone give my specifics on this mod?

Drill holes to increase more air flow? Seems silly to me. I wouldn't think you'd see a noticeable gain.

I have heard some see gains of 1 mph. Just currious on where you would place these holes?

Also would like to know from anyone else if they have done this and what the results were, is it worth it.

Dude you could take the filter off the motor and wouldn't see a noticeable difference

You need to search on this site, and maybe a couple other for posts by "deadbird8"

He reamed out the intake on a stock carb and picked up a couple hundred rpms which might result in a speed gain(+-1mph), but more than likely will just make your motor more snappy when you hit the throttle.
