Im setting the valves on my 35 briggs. The manual says .004-.006. That seems really tight compared to most automotive engines that are set around .02. I know setting valves too tight can lead to burnt valves which is common with these motors. Also wondering if valves should be set with engine warm or cold. |

Cold and .004-.006 is correct. |
