I have searched high and low, and I can not find the needle retainer screw anywhere. It is part number 739-13002. Motorcyclecarbs comes up, and you can order it, but they do not have it in stock, and they do not have a telephone number to call. This is the screw that holds the "hook" which keeps the needle in place based on the position of the clip. I have stripped the damn thing, and I have it out, but I don't want to put it back in. Any thoughts on who in the hell might have this part? Thx. |

I have a mikuni in the garage. If it is something you think I can remove and send to you, I'll give it a shot. You could just send me the replacement whenever you locate a new one. |

I've had horrible luck with fastenal. They hardly ever have what I need and when they actually do, they always want me to buy a whole fuckin bag with 900 more bolts then I need. Find you a good NAPA or ACE, those are my go-to's for odd ball fasteners. |

I found a Mikuni parts distributor in MA, that normally doesn't sell to consumers, but is going to send one out free of charge! He must have had a good weekend! Tec Distributors, 978-352-4710 |
