Hopefully this is the right spot for this. Ran across a deal on a used boat that's in great shape. Has a 25hp outboard on it with a jack plate. I am debating buying it and selling the outboard to a buddy of mine and installing a MM on the boat. Will that jack plate have any affect on the motor itself? I know it will give the ability to adjust the motor up or down, but unsure of the overall affects of having the plate on the boat! Thanks! |
