Post looking for advice on small sd
sup guys. new to this whole mud motor thing and im looking to get one pretty soon. its gonna go on a 12 foot john boat and i want a small surface drive but dont know what brand or hp to get. i want it to go anywhere between 10-20 mph with two people if thats possible. any info will help.

Dixie mud motor is a good place to start.

Copperhead ! Yes they are more expensive but u can't bet the costomer service ... Try an and find a bad report on them.... I have a 12 hp on a 1648 boat and get 20 mph one man .. 16 mph with 2 men and two treestands
