Mud Buddy carb. adaptor vs. EVT intake
presently running mud buddy adaptor with carb, having no issues, but I am being told the EVT intake will increase my RPM'S by 200 rpms. Some people say I will increase speed but loose low end, and others say I will gain no extra speed. I am looking for any suggestions if the EVT intake will make a difference in performance, good or bad. My mods are decked heads, cam, carb. w/adaptor,timing key, exhaust, larger pushrods. I run a heavy boat, 16/60 GoDevil with a Go Devil surface drive, top speed is 33mph with plenty of low end power and carrys a load great. I am just looking for a little more speed.

Re: Mud Buddy carb. adaptor vs. EVT intake
It would be better. How much?.....can't say for sure. May need to make some carb adjustments to compensate for the changes in air flow. Every little bit helps. Makes for a nicer, tighter/closer carb setup also.
